Taking Woodstock (movie): A Brief Review
I just finished watching Taking Woodstock and have a few things to say about it. While watching the movie, I did some brief research on it to find that not everything that happens in the movie is 100% accurate. With that said, the movie is a neat and different perspective on the festival. As you may know, the movie is based on the book written by Elliot Tiber. Michael Lang then went on to deny some of the events that Tiber shows in the movie and book. It's definitely not the best movie about Woodstock out there. I would highly recommend the original recording of the festival if you are looking for complete accuracy and some great music. However, the movie is entertaining and shows the story of Elliot Tiber however true it may be. I also very much enjoyed the inclusion of Vilma, an MTF transsexual.
