2010 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction
The following artists are performing inductees
ABBA
Genesis
Jimmy Cliff
The Hollies
The Stooges
Non-performing inductees
David Geffen
Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil
Ellie Greenwich & Jeff Barry
Jesse Stone
Mort Shuman
Otis Blackwell
The big news is not about the inductees this year. On March 15, the ceremony will be aired live on Fuse. For as long as I have been watching the induction ceremony, it has always been pre-recorded then aired on VH1. Apparently, Fuse has signed a 3 year exclusive contract with Madison Square Garden. This means that any event that happens at Madison Square Garden, Fuse has exclusive coverage. This includes the 2010 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. How will this affect the ceremony? Less people have access to Fuse than VH1. But then again, not many people actually watch the ceremony. Those who watch the ceremony are true music fans and most of them should have Fuse. So will it make much of a difference? We'll see on March 15.
