M.I.A. To Headline HARD LA and HARD NYC Shows.
Cultural firebrand and all-around badass M.I.A. is set to headline the HARD LA and HARD NYC shows in July, as part of her return to the live stage in 2010 in support of her as-yet-untitled new album. Along with M.I.A. will be her N.E.E.T. artists Sleigh Bells, Rye Rye, Theophilus London, 12th Planet, Ninjasonik, Nguzunguzu and Destructo. Full lineups below.
HARD LA will take place on July 17 at the Los Angeles State Historic Park with M.I.A., Theophilus London, Rye Rye, 12th Planet, Ninjasonik, Nguzunguzu, The Gaslamp Killer, Destructo and others to be announced shortly.
HARD NY will hit South Island Field at New York’s Governor’s Island on July 24 with M.I.A., Sleigh Bells, Theophilus London, Skream, Benga, Ninjasonik, 12th Planet, Nguzunguzu, Borgore, Destructo and others TBA.
Festival organizers are assuring that “both shows will also have shaded rest areas, fast entry, friendly security and tickets starting at $45!” Tickets go on-sale March 26th at http://www.Hardfest.com, http://www.Ticketmaster.com and http://www.BoweryPresents.com.
