Something Corporate Announce Reunion Tour!
Something Corporate just reunited this year after a multi-year hiatus. Now, the rockers have lined up their first tour dates in years.
Kicking off August 2nd at the Caboose Plaza in Minneapolis, MN, the band is set to play a string of 19 dates across the country. The band is currently set to wrap on August 28th at Club Nokia in Los Angeles.
“The beauty of this reunion is that we waited until we were ready. There is such a good vibe going between all of us and getting to play these songs again has been a true joy,” said band member Andrew McMahon. “The festival dates have been a rush, but I think we're all fired up to get back into the clubs and theatres, where we really cut our teeth for the first time.”
The band recently released their first new music since their last studio album, 2003’s “North.” “Played in Space: The Best of Something Corporate” combines 14 of the band’s singles, including “If You C Jordan” and “Space,” as well as five exclusive tracks. Among them are the newly recorded single “Wait,” as well as a new mix of “I Woke Up In a Car” by Adam Young of Owl City.
The band already played the Bamboozle festival in Anaheim in March. Before they kick off their tour in August, the band will also play Bamboozle festivals in New Jersey and Chicago.
