Best coast is an indie trio based out of Los Angeles, California. The band currently consists of songwriter and frontwoman Bethany Cosentino, multi-instrumentalist Bobb Bruno, and drummer Ali Koehler, who officially joined Best Coast in July 2010 after leaving the Vivian Girls and performing as the band's live drummer for some time.

Their first album, Crazy For You, was released on July 27, 2010. As of August 8, 2010, Best Coast's debut Crazy For You has sold over 10,000 units, entering the Top 40 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and peaking at no. 36.

The first single "Boyfriend" is so bittersweet. As Bethany belts out the chorus, you can't help but relate to her, and sing along. Even if your a guy. They are so Lo-Fi, Romantic, and Compelling. You wont' be able to stop listening.
