Ten Most Anticipated Albums Of 2011 So Far.
2011 Is shaping up to be a great year in music, with new festivals popping up, popular festivals adding extra days, great bands promising new albums, and a few unbelievalbe reunions. Whatever the case, it's going to be a great year in the history of music. And with that, we're announcing our list of ten most anticipated albums announced thus far, in 2011.
1. The Strokes - TBA
With a few great albums already, energetic performances and the loveable Julian Casablancas badass attitude, these guys have to top our list. We're ready to live the early 2000's nostalgia.
2. Death Cab for Cutie - Codes & Keys
These guys are my favorite band, and while I'd love to put them as number 1, I have a feeling this album won't top the new strokes album. With Gibbard promising a non-guitar album, Harmer saying there are guitars, and Chris Walla saying that it sounds like a Brian Eno album, us fans just don't know what to expect. But coming from these guys, we know it will be good.
3. Bright Eyes - The Peoples Key
Conor Oberst has been doing other things musically, for the past few years, but with the reissue of the split One Jug Of Wine, Two Vessels, which featured two new Bright Eyes songs, it left us fans craving more.
4. Radiohead - TBA
According to Johnny, it's the best Radiohead album yet.... that's a BIG promise.
5. The Decemberists - The King Is Dead
Down By The Water was the first single from this album. We're excited about this one because you never know what this band is going to do. Be it a folk album or a rock opera, you're always in for a treat.
Also.
6. Lady Gaga - Born This Way
7. Coldplay - TBA
8. Lil Wayne - The Carter IV
9. The Cave Singers - No Witch
10. Tennis - Cape Dory
hells yeah! cant wait for all of these to come out! ill be waiting!
