40 Artists We Think Will Be At Lollapalooza 2011
With the latest news reporting that Eminem, Foo Fighters, and Muse, among others, will be at lollapalooza, we've decided to take an educated guess at predicting the lineup.
Here's what we have, and why we think so.
Headliners:
Coldplay - New album coming out, never played the festival before. Huge draw.
Eminem
Foo Fighters
Muse
Janes Addiction - There has been a lot of buzz about they playing this year's festival.
Death Cab for Cutie - New album due in April. Haven't played the fest since 2006.
Sub Headliners:
My Morning Jacket - This band is on the rise, they have a big Chicago fan base, too.
Wilco - Haven't been to the festival in a while, big fan base in the area.
Vampire Weekend - Haven't played since 2009. Contra came out, and they got bigger. On www.billions.com (the booking agency) they were listed as seeking summer festival offers.
Bright Eyes - Never played the festival before, and they're Chicago date is in March. all signs point to yes.
Duran Duran - No Chicago date yet, playing other festivals including Ultra and Coachella.
Death From Above 1979 - Announced for a few other festivals.
