Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters to headline T In The Park
Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay and Foo Fighters will headline T in the Park this year.
In addition, a host of acts including Pulp, Manic Street Preachers, Brandon Flowers and Bright Eyes have also been confirmed for the festival which takes place in Balado from July 8 to 10.
This year's headliners are no strangers to T in the Park and in the past have each topped the bill at Scotland's biggest music festival. For Coldplay it'll be eight years since their last appearance while Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys last headlined in 2005 and 2007 respectively.
For Arctic Monkeys their appearance at Balado will follow two massive homecoming shows in Sheffield, which as previously reported by Spinner, will see the band play two dates at the city's Don Valley Bowl.
In a statement (via Gigwise), festival organiser Geoff Ellis said, "I'm really pleased with our artist announcements and proud to deliver a whole host of bands including many that T in the Park fans told us they wanted to see when we surveyed them post event."
Among the other bands confirmed for T in the Park are Beady Eye, Eels, My Chemical Romance and the Vaccines. Full lineup to come out Friday. For more, please click here.
