Foo Fighters, Eminem, Muse to headline Lollapalooza.

Chicago Tribune's Greg Kot says today that Foo Fighters, Eminem, and Muse are to headline Lollapalooza 2011 in Chicago's Grant Park, other rumored headliners include Coldplay, Death Cab For Cutie, and My Morning Jacket. Also slated on the bill for the Aug. 5-7 festival, according to Kot, Lykke Li, Best Coast, Girl Talk and Crystal Castles.

While the Lollapalooza lineup won't be announced until April, Kot is a reliable source of leaks, and has accurately leaked the headliners for the festival each year since it's been in Chicago. We'll keep you posted.

  2. ^this guys dumb

eminem is not a top 40 guys. he's arguably the most influential rapper (notice i didn't say pop star) of all time. he's also unbelievable live, and chicago did well to get him, if this turns out to be true

  5. There is way more to Eminem than just pop, and like the people that are commenting have said, he's one of the most influential rappers of all time. Not only to mention that Lollapalooza isn't restricted to just Alternative and Indie rock. Remember last year when Gaga headlined, the year before that when Kanye headlined, and so on and so on. Also, people seem to forget that there will be about 120 other bands. So chill. It's going to be a great weekend.
