Arcade Fire to air concert special on NBC following Saturday Night Live

Arcade Fire fans might as well cancel any plans they had for Saturday, September 28th. Not only will the band serve as musical guests for the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, but immediately following the episode, NBC will air a 30-minute Arcade Fire concert special to celebrate the band’s new album, Reflektor.

NBC confirmed the news to CoS, but did not provide any additional details on the special.

Reflektor, the band’s fourth studio album and follow-up to 2010′s Grammy Award-winning The Suburbs, is due out October 29th through Merge.
