Blur Announce First New Album In Twelve Years
By Kelli Redding
British rock band Blur have announced their first album in twelve years, entitled The Magic Whip, which is to be released April 27 of this year. The album announcement was a surprise following rumors of a new Blur over the past five years. Last year frontman Damon Albarn released his first solo album, Everyday Robots, and also confirmed his work on a new album with side project cartoon band Gorillaz. It is also announced that Blur will headline Hyde Park on June 20 this summer.
Listen to 'Go Out,' the album's first single, below. If you wish to pre-order the album, you can do so here.
