On Friday, February 27th, Elise Testone, the funk-rock American Idol finalist, will perform her upcoming EP at The Cutting Room (44 East 32nd Street, New York, NY 10010) at 7:30 p.m.

Growing up in New Jersey, Elise always knew she was a singer. Privately learning about music since the age of five and performing in coffee houses since she was a teen, she graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Vocal Performance degree. Testone was approached by a talent scout for American Idol and ended up becoming a finalist. Since Idol, she has been touring the country and has opened for several acts such as B.B King, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, and Dumpstaphunk.
