Fargo Film Festival to Screen Kamiko

After its premiere at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, Fargo Film Festival will be screening Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter at 3:30 pm, March 7th at the Fargo Theater. 

A movie about a movie, Kumiko, The Treasure Hunter centers on a Japanese woman who watches the famous film Fargo and obsesses over it, and holds it to be a map that will lead her to wealth. She goes on a quest to find this treasure, and the film follows this adventure. 

Kumiko stars Rinko Kikuchi, Academy Award nominee for her work in Pacific Rim and Babel. The film also received two Independent Spirit Award nominations (Best Director, David Zellner and Best Female Lead, Rinko Kikuchi) at Sundance. The film will be released nationwide in theaters throughout March and April.
