The Mowgli's released their latest single "I'm Good" recently. It's a snappy jam perfect for summer car rides. This song promises that summer is on its way. The sunny folk-pop melody and uplifting lyrics are a definate cure for the unavoidable winter doldrums. "I'm Good" transports any listener straight to the ocean and away from any blizzard with it's infectious rhythms. After one play, you'll definitely be saying "I'm good" and believing it, too. There is more positive summer vibes to come in spring when they release their next album Kids in Love in mid April.
This seven piece band hails from sunny northern California and have seen their fair share of indie success. Their love filled anthem, "San Franscisco" of of their first album Waiting for the Dawn just missed top 10 on Billboard's Alternative Chart in 2013 and took spot 11. The Mowgli's summertime feel creates a perfect festival vibe. The Mowgli's have spread the love at Lollapalooza and Firefly. They're making appearances at Lollapalooza 2015 and Hangout Fest to continue their mission of bringing people together.
To members Colin Louis Dieden, Katie Jayne Earl, Dave Appelbaum, Josh Hogan, Matthew Di Panni Spencer Trent, and Andy Warren, The Mowgli's is more than just music, its a chill way of life. Their ultimate goal is too bring people together in a peaceful way. On their official website, vocalist Katie says, “We just want people to feel good. It’s a domino effect. If someone leaves a show feeling great, maybe they pay it forward. If we can contribute a little bit of joy, companionship, and happiness, we’re doing our part to make the world a little brighter.” Their concerts are a love fest of free spirited hippies enjoying the free love feel The Mowgli's elicit.
