Louder Than A Bomb Poetry Slam

Louder Than A Bomb is the world's largest youth poetry festival, and it takes places in our very own Chi-city. The festival concludes with the team finals poetry slam, which is open to the public, where the winning teams of poets from previous bouts will compete for the champion title. Learn more about LTAB here, and be sure to check out the documentary Louder Than A Bomb on Netflix before you go to get a feel for the slam. You'll probably spot a few friendly faces from the documentary at the slam.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Anyone who knows Chicago knows that they tear it up for St. Patrick's Day. This event is especially great for the 21+ crowd, but it's a guaranteed good time for anyone. The parade runs on Western from 103rd to 115th, so dig out your "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" shirt from the 10th grade and check out the famous green-dyed river.
