Spunky rock band, They Might Be Giants, dropped a new live album, Flood Live In Australia. (Download it here). Flood, their 1990s project, feature's recognizable songs Birdhouse in Your Soul and Istanbul.
The album gives listeners a taste of They Might Be Giants' energetic live feel. If you want more than just a recording to jam to (who doesn't?), they are traveling the states for shows in March and April of this year and kicking off an international tour in the fall.
They Might Be Giants started in Brooklyn in 1983 and have released 17 full length albums. The Grammy winning duo, formed by John Flansburgh and John Linnell, not only has produced alternative rock hits, but also children's albums and TV theme songs.
Need more? The DIAL-A-SONG 2015 project is up and they will be releasing 52 original recordings throughout the year. Still not enough? They Might Be Giants has an app for that! The app, for Apple and Android, streams a new song everyday for an instant They Might Be Giant's fix.
It is not so often you see an artist so committed to constant releases and free music for all. They Might Be Giants will keep us all saturated with new music and spunk throughout 2015.
