Record Store Day 2015 releases announced
Dave Grohl is everywhere. Record Store Day 2015 will be on April 8. About a month ago, it was announced that the ambassador of RSD 2015 would be Dave Grohl. That’s quite fitting considering the incredible year he had in 2014. The year started with Nirvana getting inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and ended with final episode of Sonic Highways on HBO. Grohl has been a long time lover of analog music. During the movie Sound City, he showed the history behind Sound City recording studio and his acquisition of the original soundboard. Foo Fighters won the 2012 Grammy award for Best Rock Album. During Grohl’s acceptance speech, he discussed his love of analog music and recording the album in his garage. He is the perfect candidate for Record Store Day 2015 Ambassador.
Earlier today, the complete list of RSD releases was announced. The complete list can be found here http://www.recordstoreday.com/NewsItem/4988. The list includes some unreleased Foo Fighters material from the early 90’s entitled Songs from the Laundry Room.
