Wild "Lampshades on Fire" Music Video from Modest Mouse

Modest Mouse keeps it bizarre with their newest music video for "Lampshades on Fire". The video keeps the viewer asking themselves "what the fu--?" from start to finish. The video jump cuts rapidly to scenes from parties you're not sure you want to go to. Part woodland house party, part harlequin face paint, and part rainbow roller rink, we had to do our best to keep up. 

The band also got Orange is the New Black star Natasha Lyonne to join in the punk party not complete without naked people, impromptu piercings, and gunplay. Needless to say, the video suits the successful single's whimsical, off-kilter feel.

"Lampshades on Fire" is currently leading the Alternative charts. The song is from Modest Mouse's Strangers to Ourselves which came out March 17th. The band will be touring through Europe this summer as well as playing at Calling Festival in July.
