Discover: Monarchy's "Fractured World"

Australian synth-pop duo Monarchy recently released their new hypnotic video for song "Fractured World" off their newest album Abnocto. It's been a long time coming, but we're so happy to finally have our hands on their second album. We've patiently waited since 2011, and not only do they have tracks similar to their the first album's mainly synth-focused style, but they also try to feature a few organic instruments.

Over the last five years, playing across the globe and at festivals such as Coachella, Melt, Lovebox, The Big Chill, Low Cost, Arenal Sound, and their own headline shows and club gigs in the US, Spain, Germany, UK, France, Russia, Monarchy has attracted a lot of attention from fans, including burlesque star Dita Von Teese.  

After expressing interest in them after their 2011 performance at Coachella, a relationship bloomed and lead to Dita recording with Monarchy. She sings vocals for "Disintegration," their first single off new album, her first time ever recording, and stars in their video for "Black Widow."
