FESTIVAL D'ÉTÉ DE QUÉBEC ANNOUNCES LINEUP
Festival d'été de Québec, Canada's largest outdoor music festival, has lined up a knockout 48th season presenting some 1,000 artists in 300 performances at 10 singular indoor and outdoor venues over the course of 11 event-packed days in historically picturesque Québec City. From July 9 - 19, the Festival will stage everything from indie and after-hours electro shows in intimate settings to rock and hip-hop superstars on North America's biggest stage--the Bell Stage on the Plains of Abraham.
In addition to the Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Keith Urban, Jack Ü, Australia's Iggy Azalea and Germany's Milky Chance, the 2015 schedule will showcase a wide range of international artists that includes Hamish Anderson (Australia), Patrick Bruel (France), DakhaBrakha (Ukraine), Lights (Canada), Lukas Nelson (USA), Milk & Bone (Québec), Primus, Red Baraat, Run the Jewels,and The Coathangers from the USA, as well as hundreds of others from around the globe.
A city-wide event, the Festival also features free access to concerts, street performers, acrobats, jugglers, stilt walkers, and activities designed for the whole family. In 2014, Festival d'été de Québec attracted a total of one million entries, including nearly 300,000 concert attendees.
The 11-day Festival pass gives access to nearly 300 events at 10 indoor and outdoor venues. The special price pass of $78 CAN (approximately $62 US) goes on sale at 12 p.m. EST on April 9th. The regular price pass of $88 CAN (approximately $70 US) goes on sale at 12 p.m. EST on April 11th.
