Microdot was founded by Brian Cannon in 1990 after completing a BA (Hons) degree in graphic design. Brian was inspired by punk rock and in particular bands such as The Buzzcocks and Sex Pistols in the late 70s, and set out at the age of twelve to design iconic record sleeves for the biggest bands in the world – a feat he remarkably achieved by his late twenties.
